Default Rehoboth Beach In January

I am considering moving to Delaware. As I swing through, I am spending a night in the Rehoboth Beach area later this month. Do you recommend the large Tanger Outlet mall there? Is there a Wal-Mart nearby? Do you recommend any other shopping?

Thanks!

There is a fairly new Walmart right near the Tanger. Also, there are outlet malls on both sides of the road. Keep in mind that they are not really outlets, but the shopping is good. Check the times that the stores are open. We went down a year ago to do some Christmas shopping thinking that the stores would stay open to about 9 or 10 pm. Not so. Most closed between 6 and 8 pm. I haven't been there recently, so I don't know if that has changed. Also, on the main road to the beach there are shops. With the large population living there now, many of them are probably also open. Enjoy your shopping.

There are actually three Tanger Outlet Centers on the outskirts of Rehoboth Beach with a wide variety of stores. Generally, the shopping is very good. The Wal-Mart is about 2.5 miles north of the City. Downtown Rehoboth Beach also has nice shopping--even in January.

I love the Tanger outlet mall at Rehobeth. I always go there when we visit, the Old Navy has very good prices. You have to look up Nicola's down by the boardwalk and have a nicaboli also. Or go to Pizza Villa and have a cheesesteak. They're both sooo good. We joke that we go back to eat more than we go back to see family!
