Gym -with childcare? (Lewes, Bethany Beach: daycare, YMCA, moving van)

It seems that I am coming up short with all of the things my family enjoys doing! First, I cannot find a skate park for my son. Now, I cannot find a gym that offers childcare anywhere frome Lewes- to Bethany Beach.
Any suggestions?
We are looking for a gym that has free weights, a cardio area and CHILDCARE! Tanning and massages would be great-but I can go somewhere else for those things.
I have talked to Golds Gym, World Gym, Body Fitness and a few others and not one has a place for the kids.
I don't know, I thought I would throw this question out there as everyone is always so helpful here and I am becoming more and more clueless.

Have you checked out your local Y - ?, they may have machines you would do on your own but perhaps organized classes as well - they probably have daycare as an option or classes for kids - they have family memberships and it would definitely be one of the first places I'd try. JMO.

Tabitha, Bethany may not have what you seek in this venue. Check at Sea Colony. I have no idea what they offer. I think they open up to the general public....at least off season.

Other than that, look to the south in Ocean City.

The beach area caters to the tourist trade...small town.... they keep things simple.

Unfortunately, there are no "YM"s or "YW"s in Tabitha's area. The closest one would be nearly 100 miles away...one way.

That is too bad, years ago there werent many choices, the Y was it and we met so many people thru the Y connection we had, now there's so many more choices available. Thanks for the heads-up, Rockky, hopefully something will materialize.

I hope that Tabitha finds a place to meet her needs, Honeycrisp.

Bethany area is very small and, until recently, very seasonal. It's only been in the last 10 years or so that there have been physicians practicing year round. There are more services now, but not not like even a mid size town.

It's a different sort of life style, but if you love the beach, we find ways to adapt.

Well thank you for al your ideas and suggestions. Sorry for my late reply....I have been moving-unpacking-unpacking and doing some more unpacking!!! Someone in another post mentioned boxes multiplying while in the moving van!!!! I am sure that happened to us!!! It was insane how many boxes we had/have.
I have found that the nearest Y is in Rehoboth. I was looking for something up the road from us as we workout just about daily.
At this time the furthest thing from my mind is working out though....a break from unpacking and a nice walk on the beach sounds sooooooooo great!
