Default Lake Forest School District Dress code

Anybody that has information regarding the dress code changes, please post them here. I have a copy of the dress code and will be new to the district. I believe they are now allowing any color blue for shirts. Have there been any other changes? Anybody know?

Hi movn2del,

Am I correct in assuming you have the school district link in your favorites? How about the local newspapers? I know the Dover Post has a website, but I think we recently discovered the DE State News does not.

Its been extremely busy in our house these last few weeks, and I haven't been so good about keeping up with local news (other than the weather forecasts, which we all know change daily). But I'll try to keep my ear to the ground and let you know if I hear something.

See you in a month!

Mary

Hi Movin'
According to the May Board Minutes, there's mention of 'logo' changes, too. Here's the link to those Minutes, which I'm sure you must have. Lake Forest School District - BOE Meeting Minutes - 2008/05/8
Anyway, scroll down to

rdlr.... how DO you do it? I spent way too much time earlier today "googling" a topic related to the air base; no luck! I must say, you ARE good!

Hi Marych and rldr. I appreciate all your input. With everything going on here and everything going on there, who has time to be reading papers. I have read the minutes and have checked the website for the school, several times. I was looking for something more up-to-date. Some of the links seem to have disappeared. I saw them a little while ago and now I can't see them. Maybe a change for the summer until they update the links. Who knows. I know the shirts can now be any blue and not just light and navy. I have no idea what they are talking about with removing the word piping. I never saw the word piping. I have the dress code printed out. I'll have to look again. When we met with the superintendant, he mentioned there was talk about adding the color gray for shirts. I was wondering about that. I guess it didn't happen. There was a meeting in June that I can't seem to access the minutes. Guess they didn't put them on the site from the last time I checked. It's been a week or more. Wow, I'm ramblin'. So sorry. I'll just keep checking. I should be good to start the school year. Then we will see what the other kids are doing and adjust accordingly. Thanks for your help.
