Vacation in Fenwick Island - Questions (Rehoboth Beach, Ocean View: to rent, restaurant, stores)

My family will be in Fenwick Island next week for vacation. We have never vacationed there before, nor have we vacationed in any part of Delaware, so we are a bit unfamiliar. We will have kids ages 4, 8, 13, and 15 along. I am hoping to get some suggestions on recreation aside from the beach...also good restaurant suggestions would be appreciated. We are renting a house, so I would also like to know where the nearest grocery store is in relation to Fenwick Island. It is a little hard to find since I am not sure which stores are just convenience stores and which ones are full fledged grocery stores.

I have a thread here on DE titled, Fun things to do for Vacationers. It gives you some of the ideas of places around. You won't be all that far from Funland ,at Rehoboth Beach.
The kids love that. You might also take a ride down to Ocean City and enjoy the boardwalk and amusements there also. Lucky for you, you will be in the hub of some great areas of attractions.
I used a Giants off of 26 outside of Bethany/Ocean View. There most likely would be one closer to you. You can google grocery stores for their locations, that is really helpful.
The State Park at Fenwick island is great for swimming and there is a snack bar area, and restrooms also. Look on the Summerings trip to the Delaware Beaches in the NEPA thread ( of the state of PA) That will show you pictures of the wonderful beach that you are heading to. When you see the Kayaks on your right at the bay its time to turn left into that State Park. I bet the older kids would love the kayaks and wave runners that are great to rent also. Have a great time!
