We will be moving in one week to DE. My girls have been riding English and we are interested in getting involved with a barn close to our home. We will be in Magnolia (Jonathan's Landing).

Thanx

Hi Drmeese and welcome to the forum , to De ,and also to Jonathan's Landing.
You will be our new neighbor. I will ask my next door neighbor to inquire about stables in the area. She is involved with the schools in the area and if she does not know personally, she should be able to find out for you. I'll let you know what I find out. Good luck on your move next week.

Welcome to DE drmeese! From PA is great at finding information... she's great at research. I'll check too, and see what I can find out. Lots of horses in the area; I'm sure you'll be able to find stables close to home.

There is Bechers Brook in Smyrna, it was for sale at one time and may have even went to auction but I knew people who would go there to ride. Also, Whispering Meadows in Clayton, Single Tree in Seaford or Sunset Stables at Lums Pond in Bear. I don't know of any in this area, most are north or south. If you need numbers let me know and I will get them for you.
