Default State Income Taxes?

like so many other Jerseyites (well, sort of, we were transferred there 10 years ago from Maryland) we are thinking of downsizing to Delaware. Hubby's job allows a home-based office so we will be free to do this when the last child leaves for college in a year. My question to any tax buffs, is what are the state income tax advantages vs. NJ residency/income taxes, considering we would still be earning a good income for at least 10 years.
thanks in advance

Here is a great resource that may help.
Taxes by State

$400k house will have RE taxes of $2,500-$3,000
5.95% State Income tax (thats the max rate)
ZERO Sales tax except on auto purchase. They call it a fee, but its something like 4% of blue book.
