Question Newark city taxes?

I understand that if you live in the city of Wilmington, you will pay a 1.25% city tax to live there. Is this true, also, of the city of Newark? If so, what is the tax percentage to live in Newark?
We would NOT be working in Newark only living there--if that makes any difference? However, do the city taxes include dividends and interest on investments or just taxing those who actually WORK in the city? Help!!! I'm not getting this.

The only tax that Newark has (as well as other incorporated towns) is when purchasing real estate, there is a 0.75% property transfer tax in addition to the state 0.75%.
