I hate to answer that, but let's just say a little north of 30 years ago .. I know their AP Courses and such have improved dramatically since that time .. Probably a chat with guidance counselors on the breadth of colleges visited/acceptances might be helpful to you . It's not a 'New Trier East' or such where a majority of the students aspire to the Ivys, but there is a subset of the student body that will reach for that level, or the 'little eleven' .. Either CR or Dover just contributed a Rhodes Scholar who attended Princeton as a UG ..

For private schools in Wilmington -- is Tatnall and Tower Hill the extent of the good short-list? How is the Friends school there? Any sort of alternative/progressive schools that are interesting to consider?
