Default Dover high school

What's the deal with that school? What's its reputation like these days?

As I've been reading threads about schools it seems that many seem to favor CR School District and have very little kind things to say about Dover.

Over the years I've heard things like cameras have been installed in the halls (thought that was everyplace) and that there's now a gang presence of sorts there. Is it a huge one (if this is true)? I also think I've heard rumors of graffiti. Needless to say, I NEVER experienced that in my 20-so years of growing up in DE.

Has Dover changed a great deal?

Karen71, times have changed since you have been in school. Unless I am mistaken, all public high schools in Delaware have a state police officer in the building. Many schools have cameras, and graffiti is prevalent on the walls in schools. There is gang presence but I don't think it is overwhelming.

Some of the graffiti is by students who are artistic and have no common sense. They like leaving their mark but either don't understand or don't care that it costs money to have it removed. Schools take all of this very seriously. Graffiti is usually an out of school suspension.

I don't know anything about Dover High School except contact that I have had with student organizations. Students seemed no different there than anywhere. Most high schools are like little towns or cities. You have a cross-section of everything.
