Default house/land hunting for new job

I am possibly taking a job in New Castle and I am trying to locate homes.taxing info and base salary of a class B motorcycle technician in the area. The owner lives in Middleton and says it is a nice area, so I may start there. I would like to find a place with wooded land that may allow dirt bike usage to call home as well. If not, are there any local riding areas available for a membership fee? Living here in Florida, all land is gobbled up by large corps. ,housing developments or designated "sensitive wildlife/land areas.(of course with the latter,it only becomes accessable to developers when they "grease" the hands of city/county council members).
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME,
Huskyrider

I just moved from Delaware to Florida. Not sure what the base salary would be for a motorcycle tech. however, i would suggest looking for a place to live in middletown or townsend if you want land to ride on. middletown may already be taken because it has really been getting built up in the past several years, however, townsend is a little further but not quite as built up. another option would be smyrna but that is even farther. also, elkton maryland might be an option for you.

good luck! enjoy the weather there!! my husband just went to delaware last night for a work trip and it is about 18 degrees and snowing today. will take the florida weather over that any day. one reason we moved here. but moving is always an adventure so just sit back and enjoy the ride!

Try going to NH/VT/ME. You'll learn to appreciate temps as warm as 18 and only 4 inches of snow. I just moved to the Rehoboth area. I've noticed that real estate seems awfully high based on the wages, but I guess that's the price you pay to be on the beach. I'm self employed. I don't think I could afford to live here and have enough play money if I had to work a real job. Maybe other area are better. I know that Dover has less expensive real estate. Don't know about wages though.
