Question What To Eat Newark, DE

My wife and I will be visting Newark for 3 days starting this Tuesday and needed to know a good Chinese Buffet in the area.

Also any good restaurant's that I should not miss? We are staying on Main St and I know there is a restaurant called Iron something that we plan to go to but did not want to miss a Star Chef in the area or something.

Thank you for the help and havea good and safe day!

Paul

The Iron Hill Brewery on Main Street is very good. For lunch, you might want to try Paneras--good soups, breads, sandwiches, pastries, and wireless. There is a Chinese buffet on Route 72 South at the BJ's shopping center. I have never been there, but there are always plenty of cars. There are several good Chinese restaurants in the nearby area. Ming Garden on Route 4 and The Authentic on Route 273. You might want to try breakfast at The Post House. No tables--just a counter, but good. For an even better breakfast, to into Glasgow on Route 40 at Guildey's. Sit in the back and ask for Misti.

Caffe Gelato on Main St., The Trap, left at the end of Main st., a block down on Elkton Rd is The Trap. Also for consideration is Matilda's on So. College.

Aside of Cafe Gelato, which to me is lunch not dinner and some good places in the italian section of Wilmington, Delaware is a giant culinary black hole.
Go to chowhound.com or Egullet.com and look for reviews of eateries.
Charcoal Pit has a good burger but don't drive all the way to Delaware for a burger.
