Non-church places to get married in Delaware?
Does anybody know of a place where I can get married in the Lewis area ? I am looking for somewhere that isn't a church. I am nervous about an outdoor wedding if it rains - unless someplace has a back-up plan. Any suggestions?

Contact Cape Henlopen State Park. Regular rental facilities, pavilions, etc. Beautiful place and you might be able to have an outdoor weather there if the days turns out nice. Congrats and good luck.

Jennifer (I'm sorry if that's not your name), I might have a few suggestions on where you and your fiance' could have your wedding in Delaware. I'm actually a non-denominational minister who is just starting a business called "Your Wedding Awaits" and I marry couples who prefer to have weddings outside of a church. I have a few suggestions on beautiful places you could have your wedding, the types of ceremonies you could use, and how to apply for the license and the permits you may need.
