Anyone out there tell me what it's like to live in this rental complex? It seemed a little sterile to me on my first and only visit. Is it really on 20mins to Wilmington downtown by car?

Onmyd:

WHY don't you opt to rent a house in a good neighborhood, instead of some (or any) rental complex. AT present there are plenty of homes available that could be suitable for rental.

How big is your family and what is your budget?

We are a youngish couple and a 5 year old boy. What's wrong with St Andrew's? What's a good neighbourhood? We are looking at spending $2,000 to $3,000 BUT looking for a 6 month lease initially.

There is no implication - such as something is wrong with rental complex you mention - suggestion as to looking for a house was just a matter of economics ... with many homes not selling on the market renting them might be a good option - I incorporated your concern for your child and asian store location in the mix. Your budget number allows you to be able to take advantage of an established community living vs. being part of rental community which is by nature transient and/or unpredictable.

Generally, there would be a smattering of homes in different communities - if there was en masse availability in each community it won't be any different in nature than the apartemnts or rental townhouse complex. I have knowledge of certain homes available for rent , Please direct message me if you are desirous of knowing more.

Hi,

I just signed a lease with St. Andrews in Bear and have read through all I could find.. I decided to go with this complex .. first because I felt I was getting a good sized apt. for the money.....second because I really liked the fact that they had sidewalks and greenery....rather than just a parking lot in front of your place and third but not least .. the ladies working in the office were excellent. They anticipated all of my questions and were very helpful. Bear isn't my ideal location but for the time being it will be just fine
