no hints since the questions are random and you need to know the LAWS

OK, passed the written test. What about the practical? What will I be asked to do? Drive on a high way? Emergancy stop? 3 point turn? Reverse parking?

Congratulations on passing the written. Didn't have to take the test when I moved to DE, but I would think that you should expect all of the above.

you will more than likely go through a vehicle safety check (lights, horn, flashers, etc) including buckling your seatbelt and instructing your passenger to do the same and a vehicle understanding quiz (how to set parking brake, etc.).

You will then be asked to do any of the following:
- parallel parking
- k-turn
- stopping at a signal
- stopping at a sign
- general acceleration and braking
- merge on to road way
- lane changes
- reversing
etc.

Thinking back on it, I was nervous as he!! both times I took my test (1st time I failed because the station wagon my parents owned was too big for me to navigate around the course without backing into a barrel set up for parking). But it was a simple test looking back on it...

Does the DE DMV take you out onto real roads or is it on their lot?
