I am looking for a good non-denominational church in the Newark/Bear/Glasgow area. Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't want a church that is too big or too small. I will go and visit them once I get down to De in Aug. thanks

I am not sure if my response is what you are looking for .. but there is an Unitarian Church in Newark. University town -i.e Newark is an appropriate place for worship for low-key people with eclectic interests.

Yes, the Unitarian Church is the only one I could think of, but I'm sure you could Google it and get a listing of all churches. The Unitarian has a really cool building.

Thank you so much for your help. I browsed the website for a good 5 minutes and did not see anything related to Jesus or the Bible. I am really looking for a non-denominational church, where the basic of everything is The Bible. I do appreciate your help though. thanks again

Non-denominational encompasses a broad area and the term can be confusing. I googled Bible-teaching churches in Bear De and several came up, the first being an Evangelical Free Church which I believe has a mid-week service, children's activities, a school etc (not sure if you have children), likely adult sunday school, womens/mens/teens ministries etc. You might want to consider Baptist too, if there's any in the area, I think most of them have midweek services as well as Sun. evening services. Not sure where you're coming from but your own pastor may be able to give you suggestions too as they usually network with each other etc. Probably best to wait til you actually move and see where you feel most comfortable and 'click' but maybe you can narrow it down somewhat from afar.
