Default Millsboro Area

We are in NJ and looking for areas to relocate. I saw this thread on this forum and read through some of it regarding over 55 communities, however, I we would like to just move to a new area into a small home or double wide modular/mobile home, that we can afford and have no rules. I have been looking to the Millsboro area and plan a weekend Sept 19. Any input would be apprecaited.

Lonnieg, You might like the community of Angola Bay in Millsboro. Most, if not all communities have rules. I think the small amount in Angola Bay are livable rules. The dues are very low there and they have a pool. The lots are good sized, and it is in a community full of trees. You own your land and dues are about $250 per year.
Maybe a realtor can show you a home in the area with its own parcel.
I'll have to see if I have pictures on file of Angola.( found under Lewes) I do have some of the ( 3) 55+ communities I liked in South Carolina.....
All those cozy rocking chair porches! Nice clubhouses and pools......
When people ask, I like to drag those pictures out. I know people have their likes and dislikes.....
Its a big World out there.

We are going to Millsboro today for the Pow Wow festival. First time ever to a pow wow. Should be interesting.

Millsboro is going to be jumping this weekend.

Hi...
We bought into a very nice mobile home park in High Point Park in the 55 plus section. It is approx 6-7 miles from Dover and approx 40 min to the beach. The park has plenty of trees, a clubhouse and a pool. We have a large doublewide with beautiful landscaping and
bought it at a very reasonable price. There are a few for sale here in the 55plus section and from what I see from the outside they are extremely well-kept homes. Most of the homeowners have been here for years. Yes, it is a land-lease but it balances out in the end. This suits us perfect for retirement and we are very happy with our choice.
I have lived in the OakOrchard/Long Neck area. The area has built up considerably and when I visit there I take the back roads to avoid Rt. 24.
If you have any questions just email or DM me.
Carole

Honeycrisp........I'll get the info to you by DM.....and I'll have to find the file on the pictures. I store online in a few places......Its really not a good idea when you have to find them.
My favorite had the rockers on the clubhouse porch, and also games of checkers there......charming. ( something Oaks...that one) One is Captains Cove. I find the info and get it to you....
The three in SC 55+........Angola Bay, Lewes.. is all ages, own land, on the bay with a nice pool and low yearly dues. Stick built homes there.
