It is on the high side - but that is especially true if you have a direct view of the river and can see ship movemnt up and down the river.
Most of the housing stock is historic, some of the homes have been updated in the last few decades and there are a few homes that were recently built where run down homes used to be.
One has to be wanting to live in a historic town with no modern day conveniences like a super-market but appreciate the ability to take a stroll in the town at any time of the day/njght without fear.
