Question Where to walk in Newark after dark outside?

Hi all,

I love to walk in the Glasgow park, but it gets dark at 5 now and it's not lit up. Any ideas where I can walk outside after dark? The only think I can think of is to call local schools and ask if they have tracks that are lit up in the evenings and not in use by students...

Thats your best bet, and what I do when I want to walk.
We have a track behind an old middle school turned community center.
Its active and well lit in the evenings, residents bring there dogs for walks as well.

all county/state parks close at sunset so finding a park to walk at will not be a viable option

perhaps one of the high schools? Cavalier and Glasgow are the two closest to the park and may be lit up

Also, the UDel mall might be a place to look at - there isn't a track but it will be populated and fairly well lit

UD mall is a good idea, but the parking is a pain (relatively speaking.

The James F Hall trail is well-lit and apparently very nice - I'm going to try it next week:
