I am intereted in moving to the Delaware/Maryland beach area within the next couple of years. Depending on how much I feel I can afford, I am looking at Millsboro, Dagsboro, or Selbyville in Delaware, and Berlin and Ocean Pines in Maryland. How is crime in this area? Is it safe to be there year round or is there a lot of crime?

it is relatively safe. ocean pines is nice. my parents live in the millsboro area. i can honestly say that i believe no where in this world is 100% crime free anymore and I am sure you can agree. any of the towns you mentioned are good alternatives to NYC or other big cities.
