That's great. Were they selling GS cookies or something else? What were the best sellers? We can always use good ideas for fundraisers (esp. if they're easy to make, LOL).

best sellers were thin mints and lemons

It's my first year as a GS mom and I have to get into that cookie-selling-thing still ... in Germany we just don't have fundraisers like that and I don't like to ask friends and neighbors. but, with no family here, we had to and sold 25 boxes. we were very proud !! until I heard, the other 5 girls sold 860 all together. That tells me: there is always room for improvement

The thin mints are the best! Actually they're all pretty good but I know what you mean about not liking to ask friends and neighbors, I used to feel the same way when my kids were small. It's for a good cause though and the cookies almost sell themselves, anyone's free to say no. Wasnt sure if your group was making something from scratch. But back to the cookies, 25 boxes is excellent and nothing to sneeze at (sorry, couldnt resist a corny expression <G>). I rem. once someone ordered a few boxes and when the time came for us to deliver them, he said he didnt order them (maybe his wife wasnt happy about it), we didnt know him well and of course couldnt force him to take them so got stuck w/ them but it wasn't a big amount and Im sure we enjoyed eating them, LOL!
