Thank you doll. I agree that tolls can take its toll on your wallet. I have been commuting from owings mills to north of philly every weekend. would love to try 301 but bay bridge would take me way off of my route. do you propose any other route, e.g., 301 to 896 to 40....

Talking Middletown - One of the last bastians of peace.

When I first moved to Middletown, I could not get over how friendly people were. Everyone waves, and says hello to each other. Very laid back, close to trains (Septa, Amtrak) and major highways.

Having lived in NYC for 22 years, it took me a week or two to get used to this kind of politeness, peace, and serenity. The area has grown significantly to include a good number of markets, hospitals, free clinics, restaurants, and other social amenities.

I've recently purchased real estate at a Middletown TND (Traditional Neighborhood Development) that was rated number 1 in the State of Delaware for 2 years in a row.

If I told you the purchase price, you'd call me liar. LOL. See for yourself by clicking on the link below.

Parkside Middletown - A Traditional Neighborhood Development in Middletown, Delaware

Absolutely beautiful and safe neighborhoods with unique houses throughout. A throw back from early tree lined neighborhoods of the 60's and 70's when doors could be left unlocked and everyone knew each other. With a nearly 0 crime rate and no sex offenders for miles, this is one of the few near perfect places to raise children.

Many more communities like this are springing up throughout Middletown despite the wierd real estate fluctuations. Looking to move here? You won't be dissappointed.

Have a nice day!
