I think it's a great idea, we need the jobs & nobody uses that park anyway!

Yes jobs new jobs would be nice but many people's lively hood depends on the recreational opportunities it provides now.

Why not build it right in with Rehoboth, Bethany or Dewey? Are there not more lodging and entertainment opportunities there near RT-1 that could coincide for better business all around?

Think about it, the location is prefect!

If it was to create any traffic problems there is nothing around it, just like Harrington!

Any traffic will be spead out on Route 1 and they'll probably have on and off ramps anyway, no problem!

The casinos are a HUGE money maker for the state!

Have you EVER seen any big winners at Harrington? Neither have I!

The state, the states money is usually absorbed in NCC. You want more Delaware to be more AC like?

Nobody uses the Park? I can show you over 230+ pictures I took last weekend of families who do, every year. Watermen who base there, license there. Theres a tackle shop there. Put a casino there, you just displaced more "Delaware". I myself pay Delaware for a general fishing license a trout stamp, and over $70 a year for a surf fishing permit. Take my example: For just one person That's over a $100 a year/every year just in licensing. That not counting if I plan to stay longer (hotel, food, bait, etc, etc) Keep Southern Delaware beautiful, rural, and wild. This kind of over building promotes things I read in another post "KEEP THIS UP NORTH! (Oh, that was you), well it's not far off with this overbuilding Atlantic City mentality. We could pave and sell lots from New Castle to the Maryland line... why?

We may disagree and I see your points on the jobs but I think thats a double egde too. I've seen it before in Wendover Nevada.

My two cents.
