Closing here two weeks from today. Movers coming the next day. Packing has started. Mandatory repairs for VA satisfaction under way. Last day of work this coming Friday. Had time to cheer the Steelers on to victory this past Saturday (and will have time to cheer them this coming Sunday against the ..who? Jets is it?? ). Books to donate tomorrow. Condo all lined up for Lewes. Taking each day with a smile. Accepting all good thoughts. DE here we come!

Yes ... it's the Jets.

Keeping a good thought for you, Little Eggplant for a smooth, uneventful closing.

Little Eggplant - FYI: we have a great library in the CC clubhouse where folks have donated the books that don't fit into their little houses! I'm really enjoying catching up on great books I haven't had time to read in recent years. Just bring 'em home, read 'em and take 'em back! Can't wait to meet you - good luck with these final weeks of the moving process.

I remember my last day of work 2 1/2 years ago. It seemed bittersweet at the time because I knew I would miss my co-workers and students. But I must admit that I haven't looked back and haven't regretted one moment of early retirement
I wish you all the best and hope that you get in contact with me when you arrive in DE.

Little E, so looking forward to having you as our neighbor. Amazed at all you accomplished in such a short amount of time. BTW, CC has a number of hardcore Steeler fans (sorry Charley). Go Steelers!

Anyone know of any single level (55+ or otherwise) condo models anywhere in Sussex Co.? Not looking for townhouse condos, but that is all I'm finding on the net. We will be retiring to Sussex, and are now considering a condo in addition to single family homes.

Why did you chose Sussex County?

From Thank Goodness in Ct. Hope your move goes smoothly. I was so excited to hear that your house sold. We had someone looking at ours yesterday. Good thoughts only for you.

Little E, you may not remember me, It's been a while since my last post. I'm still living in N.J. but my house is already built on Bay Hill rd. #222 lot 188. I stopped in at the Clubhouse this past Saturday where they were having a "Soup and Sandwich" get together. I ran into CWTR, susieC and the other AND people and a host of other friendly fogies. (I've been catching up on the posts) Anyway I heard you may have bought lot #189 right next to me and my lovely wife Sharon. This is very good news if it's true. I'm sure you'll be a great neighbor. Looking forward to meeting you.
