Delmarva Chicken Festival Coming Back To DELAWARE -

The smell of fried chicken will soon fill the air in Delaware.

This weekend, the 62nd annual "Delmarva Chicken Festival" returns to the place where it was hatched. It kicks off Friday in Georgetown - where the festival began back in 1948. Thousands are expected at Delmarva Christian High School's campus Friday and Saturday. The event starts at 10 a.m. both days.

Yes, and as Legend302 might well point out, Longwood Gardens is across the state line, safely in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, so you needn't worry about getting shot or robbed over in that goodly state. Meanwhile, ove here in DE, may we all sit in sackcloth and ashes!
