Partials are supposed to be taken out at night to let your tooth that has the prong on it rest and your gums too. They should be taken out every night and soaked in polident. You should be able to eat with your partial after seeing your dentist several times to get it adjusted. If you cannot eat with it there must have been errors made somewhere along the line.

Just had my front teeth out this morning. Should I sleep without the partial denture, so gums can heal? Or sleep with it in????

My thinking is NOT sleep with it for healing purposes. Dentist should have the answer.

I have a three tooth flipper where a bridge was that broke loose and came out. I keep my flipper out at home but wear if when I go out.

I just got 3 teeth pulled this morning. The dentist immediately put this stay
plate in my mouth after the teeth were extracEd. It has been at least 12 hours and I would like to know if it would be okay to take it out while I sleep tonight or should I keep it in there overnight the first night?
