of course it's when a dentist is not available until Monday . It is the inner corner and it's so rough that it's slicing my tongue like I can't believe...just swallowing, talking etc. is causing this. Does anyone have an idea of what I could put there to protect my tongue? I tried gum but it doesn't work very well.

Yeow !!!!

There are temporary repair dental kits available. Look at Wal-Mart. I've also seen them at the Dollar Tree for just $1!! Unfortunately, I don't think it would hold very well on the inner corner on a molar. You could give it a try though. Good luck!

they sell thin night guards at wallgreens or CVS and if you put it over the tooth it picks your tongue up and kinda creates a barrier between you tooth and you

you can cut it or move it to just the right place that you need.

I used that when i had a horrible tasting temp.. i also would put a washcloth over the tooth.. that was kinda messy and wet and weird but you just have to get threw the day

good luck
