I'll soon be turning 30 next month (November) and I'm already thinking about getting dentures. I'll admit that I haven't been taking care of my teeth very well. Now, my teeth or should I say whats left of them lights up like a christmas tree in x-rays because of the fillings. My upper teeth have gaps and I don't like it.
Anyways, lets just say I'm a fool and I did a **** poor job of taking care of my teeth. Now, I feel like I'm paying the price for it whenever I go visit a dentist. No, I don't drink alcohol or do any drugs by the way.
Sure, I have the option to get dental implants but, I don't like the idea of someone drilling holes in my gums/bone. It sounds more painful and expensive too.
So, my question is what to expect when getting dentures, the cost and everything else? What kind of adhesive do you recommend to keep the dentures in?
