I know people that do this, I will occasionally, but I really, really do not like it. Gives me a gag reflex. I feel like mouthwash freshens back there somewhat. Also, I like my tastebuds, dont want to scrub them off...haha
I not only brush my tounge, I have a tounge scrapper. You wouldnt believe the junk that accumlates on your tounge! There are certain food and drinks that leave a thick film on your tounge, Dark soda is one thing.
Go out and buy a tounge scrapper and use it a few times, youd be amazed how much cleaner you feel.
Yeah I Haved used a knife if I somehow misplaced my scraper. Iv also broke a cd into long shards to use as a makeshift one. That's how bad you need to do it once you start. You get anal about having a clean tounge!
Wow so far 11 out of 15 say they usually/always do this so far. Odd you never see ads about it or some "tongue scraper" for sale or anything. What the -?

Hells yeah...Brush my tongue every day...But Ive switched over because I just bought a new tongue scraper...It works ok...but I might have to use both the brush and the tongue scraper to get the clean feeling I want.
Well if I go too far back it gags me, but it would have to be past that thing that's hangs down. Lol. I have to have it clean so bad that Im willing to put up with the gagging. Yeah I think there's a huge market in advertising that hasn't been exploited for this.
Yep, I brush the tongue every time I brush (always have). It does give me a gag reflex, but I always figured I had some weird OCD thing. Doesn't matter. I'll gag for it. My mouth doesn't feel clean otherwise.

That's how I found mine--and a good one--an add on facebook. All I had to pay was postage. Best tongue scraper I've ever used. Grosses me out but grosses me out even more not to use it.
