Default Highlands

Hey! I am going to denver shortly and i have a friend of a freind willing to rent me a place in the highlands for fairly cheap.

how is that area of town? Is it easy to get downtown by bike there? i hear it is easy with public transport, but does public transport also go after the bars close/

I am young, 22, and like neighborhoods to be fairly eclectic. I am not a fan of suburban styles or urban sprawl. I like it when bars are fairly accessible, and if the area is artsy that is a plus.

does any of this describe the highlands?

Generally yes, although it's all relative. Make sure you're talking about Highlands and not Highlands Ranch!!

yeah, Highlands is you're kind of place. good bars, indy restaurants, art galleries, pot dispensaries, etc. its easily walkable to downtown. even easier to ride a bike. its pretty hip. i like it.

hope that helps.

Highlands is great. There's a mix of everything there right now. It's not a particularly dense area, but it isn't far from Downtown, either.
