We will be in town next week house hunting. I was going to try vrbo but husbands company said only hotels. That being said anyone know of high rise or hotels that have an awesome view at night. We love sitting on balconies and taking in the city lights at night. Any suggestions?

I don't think high rise hotels have balconies, at least not any hotel I've seen. Probably a liability thing. They don't want anyone to accidentally fall and hurt/kill themselves.

As for view from your room:
Denver West Sheraton Hotel has rooms that either look out over the city (downtown is about 12 miles away) or to the mountains (about 3 miles away). The Sheraton Denver Tech Center has similar views. There is also a Sheraton downtown that overlooks the Capitol or downtown.

Other high rise hotels include: Hyatt (downtown and Denver Tech Center), and Downtown Comfort Inn (actually it is really nice).

If price is no object stay at the Brown Palace Downtown.

The Burnsley Hotel on 10th and Grant has great views and balconies (and it's across from the best patio/piano bar in town at Charlie Brown's) and so does the Warwick on 18th and Grant (they even have a rooftop pool). Both are great locations just a few blocks from downtown. The Marriott Convention Center doesn't have balconies but it has a bar with amazing views.
