Did you have a difficult time finding a job? Did you apply when you were out of state? Any input on the process you could give me would be great! I'm in Arizona and hoping to move to Colorado next year. I just sent off my fingerprint card and will send off my application shortly. I have 2 years teaching experience and found that because I have under 3 I'll have to take and exam and complete induction hours. That's fine, but I was wondering if you went to job fairs or how you got your job. We're thinking about the Ft. Collins are or Denver (or suburb)

Thanks!

I am a nurse; it's usually easy to find a job (though not always a job you'll like!). My DH does engineering (has a physics degree). We did not have jobs when we came here. It took about 3 months for him to get a job. This was many yrs ago when we were newlyweds. We decided he should get the job first, so we'd know where we'd be living. He did everything: job fairs, classifieds, you name it. You'll probably have better job-finding opportunities in the Denver area than Ft. Collins, simply b/c it is so much larger. Good Luck!
