Default living alone in Denver..

Hello everyone. I have been seriously considering moving to Denver in order to attend school. I am from Tucson, AZ and just can't stand this weather anymore. I am looking into getting a Radiography degree and attending Pima Medical Institute which is on 72nd Ave and Pecos St (south of the 36 highway).

I have not been able to go to Denver yet, and won't be doing school there for probably another 8 months to a year (I like to plan ahead ) I will probably be looking for an apartment in the area of 72nd Ave and Pecos Ave, and am wondering if this is a safe area for a single, 25 year old woman. Are there any particularly unsafe areas that I should avoid?

Thanks for your help

Well I can tell you that Denver is just as dry as Tucson AZ. There is not much humidity here at all. It has been a very hot summer here this year too..Pecos in my opinion is a pretty crappy area

I wouldn't want to live around there. I would rent in Westminster and drive ....maybe 7-10 miles if that. The area is commercial, indusrtrial, and I would have a stroke if my daughter lived there!
