My daughter might be attending private school in Denver, the Denver Academy, which is at 4400 E Iliff Ave, just north or Cherry Hills Village. I'd prefer to live in the "suburbs" and was thinking of Littleton, Highlands Ranch, or Castle Rock. (Cherry Hills is out of my price range, which is about $300K). Would anyone know how good/bad/long the commute would be from these suburbs (this would be taking a child back and forth to school). I was going to also look in Parker, but that seems like the worst choice due to the $7.00 toll. Any other suggestions for places to live are welcome! thanks.

I think you will find the SE part of Denver to be very suburban in nature. Look between University and Havana, north of Hampden. You'll be very surprised in what you find.

parts of southmoor these are within the locations 2Bindenver has given and I think you'll be surprised at what you can get in your range.. I think commuting to Denver Academy from Casle Rock or Littleton would be a major pain... |

lovesunnydays, the school you are talking about is located just south of the intersection of I-25 and Colorado Blvd. Not "just north of Cherry Hills Village". Also, there are no tolls on I-25.
2bindenver and dj32 have the right ideas. There are lots of homes in nice neighborhoods within an easy drive of this location; Highlands Ranch and anything south of there is too far away. It is doable from central Littleton, but would probably take you at least a half hour if you are in rush-hour traffic. |

Castle Rock would be nice but its probably to far to go on I-25. Highlands ranch is suburban hell. I would recommend an already established area as 2bindenver and dj32 mentioned. |
