What's the commute from Golden to downtown Denver? I'm assuming it's considerably longer of you need to access the east side. Head a lot about Denver traffic, though I'm from Boston originally and it's all in perspective i guess. My girlfriend and I are in Columbia, South Carolina for a one year contract for work (and hate it) and can't believe how much people complain about "traffic" here.

Well OK, maybe 20 minutes max...but times were before 7AM and after 7:30 PM, so there was really light traffic....would not want to be on 6th during peak commute.

You still must be using a helicopter. With the traffic lights just getting from 6th and Santa Fe to the hospital is 20 minutes without traffic and from I-25 to Golden on 6th is another 15 minutes without traffic.

I made 2 round trips, 4, sometimes 5 days a week for 5 months, 20 minutes was the usual commute. As you know the lights on 6th are timed pretty well...on rare occasions, I could get all the way to Colorado without hitting a red light. The only time the commute approached 30 minutes was due to accidents/sun in the eyes slowdowns on 6th.
