I am currently in Iraq and will be moving from Virginia to Denver by September of this year upon my return. I am a part of the DOD can't really post on here what I do it pays decent though. I am 23 years old and looking for a new start. Is there a night life there? How are the people of Denver? I am hoping to find a decent place to live not to close to base, but nice. Any advice for places to live and things to do? I am single and glad to have a new start in a new city!!!! What is the population like I am originally from Phoenix, AZ

First of all if you are in the military, thank you very much for your service to this great country. Denver is about like any larger city..a mix of everyone..friendly and not so much... That said you could do a lot worse in seeking a new place to start again, From a statistics point of view Denver fares better than average and is currently home to people relocating from just about everywhere.. if you love the outdoors and a rather non pretentious attiitude Denver might be a welcome change, Jobs are harder to come by these days just like everywhere though..As far as nightlife goes I'll let the young and hip fill you in...I hear it's pretty decent now. Back in the olden days..fifteen years ago plus..I thought it sucked and only really clubbed in LA..The one thing I do know is that the restaurant and dating scene is way underrated. Alot of fit, friendly, attractive women here too..no joke..
