I second the Capitol Hill recommendation, although I don't live in that same building. Buildings here may be old, but older can mean thicker walls and floors. I only hear people through vents occasionally, hardly ever walls or floors, and I pay nearly half of what you pay, granted I am in still in my last year of college still and it's a studio

Also, the location can't be beat unless you're right in downtown, which some would consider parts of Cap. Hill to be...anyway, it would be quite a difference from Thornton, and street parking can really suck here (middle of the city).

I lived in Red Hawk Ranch in Thornton for about 8 months. It was pretty quiet. You should check out some 2/2 townhomes that way you dont have anyone above or below you. Keep in mind that if you live in a complex where's there's a bunch of young people it's probably going to be pretty loud.
