Hello everyone,

I know there are a lot of post about people moving to denver but I figured I would throw my scenerio in there and see what you'll think. I am a 23 male.

I will be moving to Denver in August after graduating from UNLV with a hotel adminstration degree. I want to live in a area thats not to far from downtown ( about 15-20 min) and since i will be living on my own i would want a rent of $550-650. Im not sure if this is feasable but if you guys have an idea of a good place to live let me know.

There are options, although that is a small budget for the closer in areas you probably would like best. That sort of budget is more roomate friendly in Capitol Hill than living on your own price, at least for a moderate to nicer place. When I last looked Cheesman Park and Wash Park West had some modest options in that price range.

I bet you'll love it here. I moved from Vegas as well and can't imagine going back. I have met a number of other former Vegas residents (at UNLV basketball games there are quite a few) and they all say the same thing.
