Highlands Ranch and Castle Rock are tied with the highest foreclosure rates in the state. Castle Rock values have dropped like a rock, and it's about the same distance from the DTC as Highlands Ranch. Time will tell if HR real estate values hold up, but I'm not betting on it.

I'm crossing my fingers that prices in the southern suburbs will stay the same or go down because that's where I'm probably going to want to buy in 2-3 years.
