We had the opportunity to get a great deal on a house (looking for our 1st) where the seller was in prison, after she killed her husband and tried to burn his remains in the living room fireplace. We passed on it.

Don't believe in ghosts? That's fine, but someone in your family might. Or will
the first time there's a strange noise at night.

Neighbors renter did it all over the hallway with a shotgun to the head. Messy stuff. Cleaned up the house and sold it 2 months later. Those people still live there and they know about it. Guess the ghosts don't bother them

Depends on the state, the circumstance, how long ago it happened etc. Not cut and dried.

I think it would bother me, not that I believe in ghosts but I think it would always be in the back of my mind and might creep me out walking into a dark room in my own house or everytime I heard a strange noise. I would have to pass on a house like that.

My friends parents are going to sell their house and thier oldest son shot himself in the head there years ago. They stayed in that house and had more children later. I don't know why they didn't move after that happened. But it's a really pretty house.
