Default Building a house in Denver area

We plan to move to the Denver area (probably Evergreen) in the next year or two. We would really like to build our "dream home". Do any of have recommendations for builders/contractors? We would be building a log/mountain home, probably a semi-custom. We would not be looking for super high-end nor super cheap, somewhere in the middle.

Thanks in advance for the help.

You will probably have the best luck with smaller local builders. Most of the big name builders do not do one off customs, nor do they work in Evergreen. If you work with an experienced Realtor who specializes in Evergreen to help you find a lot they can also help you select a good local builder.

I know and work with several excellent builder in Larkspur, but they all live and work in this area and would not be the best choice for Evergreen.

Great, thanks! I would rather go with a smaller local contractor, just want to make sure they are professional and reputable. Good advice with the realtor. When the time comes maybe I will check back with you to get some names of Larkspur companies, they may know some in Evergreen area.
