If you are worried about pollution in Stapleton, I would be most concerned about the jet fuel in the soil from the closed airport.
Actually they removed most of the top soil in the development and used or I guess still use it as the daily soil cap at the local dumps. Back in the early 80's there was a large fuel spill at Lowry which has been flowing south through old Aurora and east Denver and by now probably reaches some parts of Stapleton and even Park Hill.

Traffic in Stapleton is no worse than any other Denver neighborhood. It wasn't meant to be a quiet, cul-de-sac community.
