To the person driving down I-25 going southbound past 144th..at 5:10 am Why do you think its ok to drive with your lights off..
First of all couldn't you tell it was still dark outside, and 2nd the rain was making it invisibile to see the road clearly...I swear you are an idiot...
Turn on your lights so other drivers can see you..
Is that hard to ask..

This is a peeve of mine also, especially in the winter. I call it the 'Mr Magoo' syndrome> "no one on the road except me". In some states(maybe CO), if conditions warrent the use of windshield wipers, then headlights are required to be on.

I think the problem is the "auto" lights on newer cars. Rain/Snow alone won't cause them to go on and people have become accustomed to not having to put lights on.

My problem is that I turn them on and then forget to shut them off!

I don't live in Co but read denverpost often and I'm forever seeing reports of people killed or hurt in a vehicle accident at least every 12 hours, its always due to lost control or speeding. I now see why.

It's true; my tired grip the road much better when my headlights are on.

Off topic for a RELOCATION website.

This sort of posting belongs on Craigslist under the topic of rants, some of which are great reading.
