King Soopers on Monaco and Leetsdale. I never noticed it before today, so I don't know if it's special/seasonal, but here it is:

I hope it tastes as good as you remember. Sometime the memory becomes more powerful than the real thing.

You should not have done this with the picture--now I am hungry...I want baloney...any baloney...I do not buy baloney...but now I need it...how am I ever going to sleep thinking of a big slab of baloney...ahhhhhhhhhh

Once, many years ago. I bought one of those 8-10 inch wide by 2-3 feet long baloneys, hallowed it out and chopped the baloney with onions, bread and seasoning. I restuffed it and baked the whole baloney. It was joke for a frat party. I was challenged and I created a stuffed baloney. It came out well greased with that wonderful smell of fried baloney and onions. It was my culinary masterpiece. It was a big hit with the beer, the mustard, the crusty bread...yea that was some party!

I do not think they make those large bologna anymore--I have not seen one for years. I like to do one again for a bunch of skinny woman; I like to see how long they can resist...of course, I will call it natural, organic, free ranged grass feed bologna, low in calories

Now I am really hungry...argh...

Wow, livecontent, your culinary masterpiece sounds so good! Haha! I should invite you over for some lebanon bologna and swiss cheese sandwiches.

Davidv, it tastes just as I remember it. I actually had some when I visited my parents in Pennsylvania in December, so it hadn't been too long since I last had it. To me, lebanon bologna is just more of a 'summer' thing, so that's why I was thinking about it a few weeks ago.

Awesome! The only thing is that they charge $8.99/lb here, when it's more like $4/lb in my hometown in PA. I understand that it's probably expensive to ship, so I'm not really complaining. It's just.. expensive.

When it comes to food you really want, nothings expensive. I have to have a certain pickle from Texas shipped here (Del-Dixie), Naturally Ranch dressing (best there is out there!), and San Manuel Chorizo (nothing like it out there). I'd gladly pay twice the price from back home if it was available at a store instead of having to ship it and freeze them and take them out little at a time..

I'm glad. I gave up drinking Coke about 10 years ago (I still drink Diet Coke) and I had a regular Coke after 10 years and it was so sweet that it nearly made me gag. I'm glad I didn't drink a Pepsi. That might have killed me. I guess your tastes change as you get older.
