A mountain with a ski slope...( considering lots of vacationers freak out and go blind when they realize Denver is NOT in the mountains!!!)
I've heard them at the airport...."Well gee Thelma, I thought we were coming to Denver to ski!!"
Think again you non-natives!! Just being funny on that last tidbit!!

Agree-- this is what Denver really needs more of. Denver needs more corporate headquarters to relocate and stay here and not get bought out by out-of-state companies. Latest example of this: Qwest.

My life here would be perfect if there was a Trader Joe's. But then my head might explode.

What about Steak 'n Shake? Are they coming here? They started in Champaign, IL, where I used to live. They were simply a take-out, or sit and eat in the car place at one time.

We could use a trader Joe's, wouldn't hurt. More greenery, this place is too brown for my liking. Better infrastructure/streets and some good Av's/Redwings games

A Steak 'n Shake is currently under construction at the intersection of County Line and Quebec in Centennial. I do not know when it is scheduled for completion, but it shouldn't be too long.

It's always a treat for my family to stop in for a bite when we travel east. Love, love, love their fries!

There's no Trader Joe's???? We're thinking about a move to Denver from the Bay Area and that just might be a deal breaker! LOL Although, we could actually afford a house in Denver...good eats or a house...decision's decision's...

  • We got our IKEA, now we need Trader Joe's!!!
  • As someone who doesn't do crappy furniture in flat boxes or snobby high priced "organic" food, I couldn't possibly care less.
