Martin Luther King Blvd and Monaco are in Denver, not Aurora. Are you sure you have the correct cross streets? I think the area is considered to be North Park Hill. Not my cup of tea, but others seem to like it.

That intersection is sort of odd... north of it isn't unsafe, just cheaper, smaller homes. Mostly small brick ranches. Go south on Monaco and it quickly becomes rather upper class. You'd have to check it out to really know.

Default Advice please

Im considering moving to Co from Cali and staying with an aunt. My aunt lives off the cross streets of Martin Luther King Jr and Monaco pkwy, street is Locust.

Can anyone give me some info on this area. Not sure if it considered Aurora or Denver? Any input would be helpfull. Is this a good or bad location? Is it good for young couples and going out?

I lived close to there for a while. It is Denver. The area is okay. As far as being safe it's not bad as far as city living goes.

I live off of MLK and Holly. Just a little bit west of there.

The area is part of the city and county of Denver. South of MLK it is the North Park Hill statistical neighborhood and north of MLK is the Northeast Park Hill statistical neighborhood.

Safety is not a concern.

The population is very diverse and mostly lower to middle class.

I wouldn't hesitate staying with your aunt until you get on your feet.
