Can anyone provide information/opinions on the neighborhood from Lowell to Federal and 38th Ave to 44th Ave?

That's actually part of the Berkeley neighborhood. It's a nice, up and coming area, that really was only "discovered" in the last 5 years or so (unlike West Highlands). As you probably know, Berkeley has two nice parks: Rocky Mountain Lake Park and Berkeley Lake Park. There is also a nice stretch of shops and restaurants along Tennyson street, and of course you're also not far from Highlands Square at 32nd and Lowell. I wouldn't live right on Federal, mind you, but assuming that you are a block or two (at least) in from Federal, I think it's a nice area.

Hi Deiter- We just had a rather lengthy discussion about this a week or so ago, you may want to do a search of Forum. 38th-44th definitely up and coming right now.
