Default Moving to Westminster- apartment opinions

I am planning to move to Westminster from FL in a month. Does anyone know anything about Eagles Landing Apartments? How are they and what is there to do around town for a single 23 yr old. Also dos anyone have input on good community colleges for a basic AA degree?

Low standards and single: Sandpiper Apartments
Medium standards and no one living above or below: Sunset Ridge
Higher standards and yuppie money: anything else

I go to Front Range Community College and not only are the classes awesome but the scenery isn't bad either. As far as stuff to do in Westminster it depends on what you're into. Boulder is 15 minutes away and Denver is 10. Sky is the limit.

I also suggest Front Range Community College (FRCC for short) for your "basic AA degree." The parking might be a problem for you given the schedule you choose because a lot of students go to the FRCC Westminster campus. Alternatively, FRCC has a couple of other locations with other degrees offered at those campuses. I suggest you take a look at their 60+60 guaranteed transfer program if you're aiming for a "basic AA degree." Future progression with as many doors as open is a good idea to get down so you won't have to retrace your steps when going for a Bachelor's or anything higher.

I would also suggest you take a look at the Links at Legacy Ridge. The apartments are a bit on the old side with the plumbing included (signs show up during winter to keep your faucet dripping to avoid freezing pipes) but for the rate they're actually kind of nice. They're located near the post office and a shopping center down south. Westminster Colorado Apartments - Home - The Links at Legacy Ridge

I have no heard of the Eagles Landing Apartments though. I might have run across it while looking at apartments online though. If I recall, it's a bit of a low standard apartment complex.

If you're going to head to Boulder or Denver for some fun, I suggest you steer clear of US-36 during rush hour as they are severely congested during those times. It'd be faster to take the smaller roads. Dillion Road eastbound is also crowded during the afternoon rush hour.
