Default relocating

I am possibly relocating to Denver with my company. I am interested in a more urban environment; not the suburbs. I want to be able to walk to bookstores and coffeehouse, etc. I am a single woman so to say the least safety is important but I am from St. Louis and I currently live in Phoenix so i am not a stranger to living in a city environment. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start looking for rentals?

The job is located east of downtown Denver but I am ok with a commute to work so I am not looking to base my housing from that. The new community needs to be very walkable and with a bend towards the artistic even boho feel. I'm looking for parks, restaurants, art house movie theaters, etc. LGBT friendly is a desire also. I am in my early 30's. I am looking to rent around $800 or less.

The $800 a month will be your most limiting factor. Try padmapper.com

Thanks!

I have found several listings for my price range in Capitol Hill. Is that a good area?
