We had a wonderful $36 million turf soccer complex in Overland Park KS. Is there anything like that for youth soccer in the Denver area? I can't seem to find anything.

Although that is quite a chunk of change for a soccer complex, those fields are great for the local economy because they draw teams from far way who want to play there in tournaments. Are there any plans for turf fields in the Denver area?

Looks like it's 12 indoor synthetic turf fields in one complex.

There are a bunch of single field indoor facilities around Denver. Here's a short list:

Most of the soccer tournaments that I've seen around Denver are outdoors, so I don't see a bunch of indoor fields being in high demand.

There is a small facility with 3-4 turf fields at Colorado Blvd and C-470.

Most fields in Colorado are grass, and the area has no trouble attracting tournaments because of the great weather and lack of humidity, not to mention the largest professional sports complex in the world in Dick's Sporting Goods park, which has 23 full-sized fields.

Last year's Real Colorado Cup over Memorial Day attracted 300 teams from 14 states, and the Denver Cup in August is one of the top tournaments in the region.

The complex in Kansas City is outdoor, not indoor. Indoor fields are something severely lacking in Kansas City. The ones they have are of very poor quality and there just aren't enough of them.

Is the Dick's Sporting Goods park open for youth tournaments?

Yes. Several tournaments are held there every year. The stadium is also the site of the state high school soccer championships as well.
