We just moved into the Englewood area and I'm looking for a women's indoor soccer team or a co-ed team. Is there an indoor stadium anywhere nearby-- I'm having trouble finding something online.

If there isn't any indoor stadium nearby, does anyone know of outdoor in the Englewood/Greenwood area?

Foothills Parks and Rec (http://www.ifoothills.org/prog_sports_adult_winter.asp - broken link) has a winter season on a full size field indoors. It is located at Kipling and Hampden (easy commute if you live in the city of Englewood, not so easy if you live in an area with an "Englewood" address.

Denver Sports Center is west of Sheridan Blvd on Evans Ave. It is cheaper, but it is indoor soccer in an old ice arena.

From a spectating point of view, I highly recommend going to the Rapids games. They play Salt Lake this Friday. Huge rivalry and last home game of the regular season. It should be a great crowd.

There is also a place in Stapleton called Bladium that does year round indoor soccer. co-ed leagues, etc. I played in a few leagues there, but unfortunately my team disbanded, lol. Love me some soccer, I played all the way through college, and I generally just get along with people who like soccer themselves : ) Wish I could find a new team actually!

Go to craigslist and look over the activity partners listings for teams looking for players or put up a listing of your own. They are busiest right before season starts but there are always teams who lose players midseason and desperately need a replacement to avoid forfeiting games.
